Siena performed beautifully yesterday at the Regional Swimming Trials held in Maitland, qualifying for the State Swimming Championships in 3 events, being held in Sydney at the end of this term. She has qualified in backstroke, butterfly and her 11 yrs 50 m freestyle. She did this depsite having a touch of the flu, hindering her breathing whilst swimming. What a great effort from a very talented athlete. We wish her every success at Homebush, enjoying the ambience of the Olympic pool against the best swimmers in the state.
