The Waste as Art Community Competition is a unique project which encourages the use of waste products and materials in the creation of art. Yr 4/5/6 worked hard last term to create a wall hanging using waste material. If anyone is interested in viewing it, it will be on display in the Waste as Art Exhibition at the Hunter WetlandsCentre from 31st July until 27th August, 9am -4pm.
Due to the wonderful efforts of Ms Tully and 4/5/6 Iona P.S. were the winners in the "Best Use of waste" Category in this competition and as a result we have won $500—a truly amazing effort and a testament to the creative talent of Ms Tully and her students!
