What we offer

Each school in NSW offers something slightly different depending on the community. Here's what we offer for you.

Excursions

Excursions are an integral part of teaching and learning programs at our school. Buses are generally used for most whole school excursions, occasionally small groups of students may be transported in parents' vehicles keeping in mind the RTA's rule on booster seats for children under 7 years. A permission note is sent home providing information about each excursion, including cost, and transport arrangements. A signed permission note is required for each excursion a student attends, even if they are travelling with their own parent.  During school time, students remain the responsibility of the school.

Canteen

All canteens in NSW public schools must meet certain requirements. These include providing more healthy food and drink options – to make the healthy choice an easy choice for students. Visit Healthy school canteens to learn more.

Uniforms

When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.

Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:

  • meets the requirements of occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation

  • includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics

  • is appropriate for the full range of school activities

  • is suitable for all body shapes.

Our uniform

Our uniform is navy shorts, trousers, and tracksuit and a light blue shirt. Girls can wear a summer checked tunic available from Lowes in Maitland, and a winter pinafore available from a uniform supplier and ordered through the P and C. For sport, students wear red shorts and tracksuits, with a red and white polo shirt with navy trim (available through the school). The shorts with printed logo and the tracksuits are available at the school. A broad-brimmed navy sunsafe hat is also available from the school. A red and white swim-shirt used during school swimming activities is also part of the uniform and is available through the school office. Black shoes and white socks complete the uniform, with joggers for sport and PE. Second hand uniform items are available at the school for a gold coin donation.
