Congratulations to Asher who won the Regional Final of the Multicultural Public Speaking Competition, following in the footsteps of his sister Luka who won last year. It is certainly some achievement that two siblings from such a small school as Iona have won this very competitive competition, two years in a row. The State Final will be held in Sydney in early November. We will be asking for some expression of interest from children who wish to attend the state final in the near future.
